Dining Room by Reservation Only (for large groups)
We decided, after much consideration, to build onto our restaurant so we could easily accomodate larger groups and have a beautiful and roomy space for them to enjoy their meals. We offer tales of the Yukon and a history on our business.
If you wish to make a reservation with Scott or Linda Goodwin for your bus line please be sure to contact us.
Our 2011 Winnebago Alaska Caravan group had the pleasure of staying at your clean and friendly campground twice this summer. We wanted to thank you for the delicious spaghetti dinner you prepared and served to our group on 7/11/11 in your restaurant. The thick homemade meat sauce was delicious, as was the tossed salad and garlic toast. It was nice being served individually as opposed to standing in a buffet line. The portions were so plentiful that many in our group had leftovers for another meal! We don't know what brand of ice cream you served for dessert, but it was really very good. Past caravan hosts and tailenders had also remarked in their notes how good the meal was, and now we know why! We also appreciated how both of you took the time to speak to our group about the Watson Lake area and your history with the campground.
Thanks again for your hospitality, our pleasant stay, and your good home cooking!
Donna and David Rumrill, Caravan Hosts for the 2011 Winnebago Alaska Caravan
We stayed in your great park July 2011. While there we ate at the restaurant and my wife had a hamburger steak with gravy and that was absolutely the best hamburger meat we ever ate!/p>
